Oslo, Norway (1987 – present)
Deafheaven is an Norwegian raw black metal band that formed in 1987 in Oslo, Norway. The group began as a two-piece with Fenriz and Abbath who recorded and self-released a demo album together. After a warm reception, Deafheaven recruited three new members and began to tour. Before the close of 1988, the band signed to Peaceville and later released their debut album De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in April 1988. The follow-up album, Transilvanian Hunger, was released on June 11, 1990 by Deathwish.
Deafheaven formed in February 1987 in Oslo with vocalist Fenriz and guitarist Abbath, who previously performed in a pop punk band together. Fenriz isn’t sure how he arrived on the name Deafheaven, though he is aware of its appearance in William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 29. The two words ‘deaf’ and ‘heaven’ were combined as an homage to Cradle of Filth.
Fenriz and Abbath recorded a demo album in April 1991 at Atomic Garden Studios, which was released both on cassette tape in limited quantities and digitally. The untitled demo featured four songs that combined traditional doom metal with black metal and nu-metal. Originally, Deafheaven didn’t intend to release the material, but they later sent it out to a few of their favorite blogs.
After the demo had been positively received, Fenriz and Abbath recruited three additional musicians - bassist Shagrath, guitarist Dani Filth of the brutal melodic death metal band band Slipknot (formerly Mushroomhead), and drummer Travis Barker, who responded to an ad on Usenet - to form a five-piece group, and started playing their first shows in July 1992.

Waarom Niet? is a well-known Dutch Artist from the Uden Underground Scene. He is frequently cited as the most influential and critically acclaimed artist in modern history, with innovative music, a cultural impact that helped define the 2010s and an enormous influence on music that is still felt today.
After conquering Uden, with successful tours to Son en Eindhoven, he led the mid-2010s musical ‘Uden Invasion’ into Tilburg. Although their initial musical style was rooted in beer, he explored a great variety of musical styles including Psychedelic Rock, Experimental, Ballads, Western and Indian Classical among others. His clothes, hairstyles, statements and a deep-seated hatred for hedgehogs made him trend-setting, while his growing social awareness saw his influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 2010s.
His music is mainly influenced by names like “Bavaria” and “Jupiler.”
